  PEGGY ANN GREEN

Funeral for Peggy Ann Robinette Green, 68, of Madisonville, was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Day Funeral Home in Madisonville with Lon McVeigh officiating. Graveside service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rusk Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Odis Bryan officiating.

Mrs. Green died April 26. She was born Feb. 28, 1940, in Baton Rouge, La. to Robert Thomas and Ruby Lee Euna Pearson Robinette.

She was retired. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Oscar Green III; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Green; and a brother, Marvin Robinette.

Survivors are her husband, Oscar Monroe Green Jr.; her five daughters and three sonsin law, Peggy and Charles Cornelius of Rusk, Anita and Tommy Cornelius of Madisonville, Joycelyn Allman of Houston, Elizabeth and David Tom of Houston, Stephanie Shaffer of Madisonville; a son Marvin Green of Houston; a brother, Robert Robinette; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tommy Cornelius, Charles Cornelius, David Tom, Brandt Jamail, Raymond Ailman, James Smith, Jorge Valasco and Heather Green. Honorary pallbeares were David Green and Russell Allman.
