John M. Gilmore

Funeral services for John M. Gilmore, 77, of Rusk, will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at First United Pentecostal Church in Alto with the reverends James Littlefield and Keith Brooks officiating under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial will be at Still Waters Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville.

Mr. Gilmore died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at his residence. He was born June 8, 1930 in Pennington.

He worked for 35 years as a truck driver for C&H Transport and for 5 years with Bekins Transport Co. Mr. Gilmore was a member of First Pentecostal Church, Alto.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Gilmore of Rusk; sons, Johnny, James, Delbert, Mark, and Hulen Gilmore; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the service will be Mr. Gilmores grandsons.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 9, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home.
