JOHN HENRY GIBSON

Graveside service for James Henry Gibson, 82, of Rusk was at 2 p.m. April 28, at Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Humble under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral. Mr. Gibson died April 25, 2007. He was born Dec. 23, 1924, to John H. and Hattie L. Hundy Gibson. He was a Rusk resident 10 years, formerly of Houston. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, a truck driver and served in the U.S. Military in World War II.

Preceding him in death were his first wife, Lois M. Gibson, and a son, James Milton Gibson in 1957. Survivors include his wife Lucille Colvin Gibson of Rusk and several nieces and nephews.
