JESSIE DIXON
Funeral for Jessie Howard Dixon, 77, of Reklaw, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Curtis Oliver and the Rev. Jerry Wallis officiating.
Burial will be in Walker Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Dixon died Dec. 1. He was born Sept. 23, 1931, in Reklaw.
He was employed as a machinist in the manufacturing industry, was a member of the Branded by Christ Cowboy Church in Rusk and served with the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Dixon; mother, Pearl House; brother, Danny Dixon; and sister, Eloise Dixon.
Survivors are his wife, Nancy Jane Cowart Dixon of Reklaw; two sons and daughters-in-law, Malcolm and Pamela Dixon of Rusk and Rodney and Shelia Dixon of Reklaw; a daughter and son in law, Marla and Eric Hiatt of Arkansas; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Clay, Gerald Mieneke, Cecil Bannister, Kim Shafer, Tim Tipton and Nathan Welch.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gilbert Stafford and Bobby House.
