Blanche Elizabeth Dickson

Services for Blanche Elizabeth Dickson, 95, of Jacksonville, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McDonald Cemetery in New Summerfield with Al Parr officiating under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home of Jacksonville. Burial will take place at the service.

Mrs. Dickson died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at a Jacksonville nursing home. She was born July 31, 1911 in New Summerfield. She spent most of her life in New Summerfield and Jacksonville.

She was a member of Corinth Road Church of Christ in Jacksonville. Mrs. Dickson was a lifelong homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Ellie Fox Jay; husband Elzie Dickson; daughter, Mary Beth Berry; grandson, Lind Berry; great-grandson Cody Berry; brothers, Gordon, Victor and Ross Jay.

She is survived by her son, Robert L. Dickson of Jacksonville; daughter and son-in-law, Monyene and Robbie Hammett of Henderson; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
