  IDA LOU DELANEY

Ida Lou DeLaney, 74, a homemaker and nurse's aide, died Thursday Dec. 18 in San Antonio.

The funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday at Fort Worth First Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial was in Salem Cemetery at Rusk. Mrs. DeLaney was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Lindsay, Okla, daughter of the late Rufus Thomas and Audie Stephens Sutton. She married Alfred William DeLaney on April 16, 1955, and they were married for 50 years until his death in 2005.

Mrs. DeLaney was a member of Fort Worth First Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors are her son, Alfred Dale DeLaney and his wife, Catherine; granddaughters, Jennifer J. Olvera and her husband, Salvador, and Andres J. Murphy and her husband, Steve; great-grandchildren, Adrianna X. Olvera and Ryan A. Murphy.

Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Worth was in charge of arrangements.
