VELMA CRISP

Graveside service for Velma Crisp, 73, of Jacksonville was at 4 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. David Moore officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Mrs. Crisp died May 2. She was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Cherokee County. She was a homemaker and a member of Taylor's Chapel Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Doyle Crisp; a son, Travis Crisp; a daughter, Cindy Crisp; and parents, J. H. and Essie Lorene Patterson.

Survivors are a son, David L. Crisp, a daughter, Sandra Crisp, two sisters, Judy Foster and Joyce Kelly, all of Jacksonville; a granddaughter, Wendy Zeineldin and two great-grandchildren, Maya Gandy and Zeke Zeineldin, all of Galveston; and several nieces and nephews.
