ROSE MARY CHRISTOPHER

Funeral for Rose Mary Christopher, 77, of Bullard, was at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. L. Davis officiating. Burial was in Corinth Cemetery.

Ms. Christopher died Aug. 7. She was born Aug. 5, 1931, in Cherokee County and was a Nacogdoches High School graduate. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mose and Bethena Shamblin; her husband, Perry Christopher; one son; two sisters and three brothers.

Survivors are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Clifford and Utherus Boyd Jr., Lemmon Earl Boyd and Kenneth Wayne and Ruby Boyd, all of Bullard and Charles and Pete Boyd of Eureka, Calif.; four daughters and one son-in-law, Ruthie Whitaker of Houston, Jerlene Boyd, Wanda and Felix Abu of Jacksonville and Michelle Boyd of Bullard; a sister, Opal Faye Allen of Kansas City, Mo.; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Nathan Golden, Henry Cook, Bo Brewer, Fred Bowie and Michael Whitaker. Deacons of the Corinth Baptist Church were honorary pallbearers.

Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
