Funeral for Bruce Bryant, 75, of Jacksonville, was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville with the Rev. R. S. Dyess officiating. Burial was in Meador Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Mr. Bryant died Dec. 18. He was born March 7, 1933, in Bonham.
He was a retired employee of Entex in Rusk for 25 years and as an office manager for 10 years. He was a Church Of Christ member, volunteer fireman and served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph M Bryant; mother, Ella Mae Barnes Bryant; wife of 40 years, Jean Bryant; sister, Dorothy Ropp; and brother, James Ray Bryant.
Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Lenon K. and Jocelyn Bryant of Tyler; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and David Higginbotham of Tyler; brother and sister-in-law, Buford and Donna Bryant of Denton; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Marsha Bryant of Farmers Branch, Narissa and Lawrence Valenta of Friendswood and Lenny Love of Joplin Mo.; grandsons, Christopher and Richard Bryant and numerous nieces and nephews.
