MARGARET BLACK

 

Graveside service for Margaret Black, 87, of Kemp, was at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at the Lynches Chapel Cemetery with W.H. Hodges officiating.

Mrs. Black was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Rusk, to the late Samuel Mason and Willie Mae Waller Foster.

She died Dec. 10. She was Baptist and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur G. Black Sr.; three daughters, Gloria Fae Black, Debbie Jo Johnson and Evelyn Genter; a son, Kenneth Eugene Black; and two grandchildren.

Survivors are her daughter, Connie Jean Draper of Atlanta; three sons and daughters-in law, William (Billy) Foster and Anna Black of Duncanville, Arthur G. Black Jr. and wife Sharion Black of Kemp and Edward and Sheila Black of Laneville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Ann and James Denney of Victoria and Sue and Robert Langston of Maydelle; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a half-sister, Elizabeth Roden of Annona.
