HOLSOMBACK CEMETERY

CR 2734 (Forest Rd), ~ 1.2 m NW of Wells, near 3092 CR 2734.   Cemetery is 200 yards on the SW of 2734,  on a hill surrounded by hurricane fence. There is a green sign at the gate entrance labeled HOLLSUMBECK CEMETERY ROAD, CR 2739. (CR 2739 has been abandoned by Cherokee Co.)

Holsomback is located on the old Highway north of Wells about 1 ½ miles on Melvin Burroughs farm. There is also two other burial plots on the same farm. The graves are unmarked, but they are suppose to be the original settlers and a child.
