Martin Cemetery is located east of the Atoy community. At the intersection of Hwy 69 & FM 343 just south of Rusk turn east. Hatchett, E(dward). Asbuary, b. 1833    d. 03 Feb 1870 no dates on the marker, Co K-4 Tex Cav-CSA. Son of Hubbard Guinn Hatchett (born                 1808         died 08-15-1889) and Evina Bigham Hatchett (born 1810 died 04-14-1882) married Vernetta Waggoner 03-11-1855, married Martha W. Hearn 01-08-1857.

Maness, Caroline    b. May 1855 d. 02 Apr 1926    no marker found May 1994. Melissa Caroline Martin, wife of Temple Henry Maness, daughter of John Martin and Caroline(Lavenaia) Martin.

Maness, Temple Henry    b. 1852        d.1892    No marker found May 1994    Son of Riley and Margaret Smith Manes, married Melissa Caroline Martin Maness 11-10-1874.  Temple Henry, Melissa Caroline and several of their children who died as infantrs are buried in Martin Cemetery at aroy, which is on land donated by John Martin, Melissa Caroline's father.
