MANNING CEMETERY
Manning cemetery is located north of Central High Community, on a hill known as Graveyard Hill. All the graves have been destroyed but the following are known to be buried there.
Manning, Willoughby Lane, Sr. b. in Nash county, N.C. about 1803, d. ca 1858, son of Willoughby & Drucilla Manning
Manning, Rosanna, b. in Tenn. ca 1804 d. after 1880, dau of Richard & Mildred (Goofrum) Tidwell, wife of Willoughby L. Sr.
Manning, Richard b. in Maury county, Tenn. ca 1828, d. before 1860. Son of Willoughby Lane and Rosanna.
The above information was from Mrs. Mildred B. Smith of Ft. Worth, TX She also said that Mr. Mark Cross said there were other graves of a Lambert family here also.
