The Corine Cemetery Association makes a report to Friendship Baptist Church a Sunday in June.

Friendship Baptist Church and Corine Cemetery began in 1872, the church was first held in a log building, along with the community school. Early baptisms were held in the Neches River or Carey Lake. The earliest burial in the cemetery dates to 1866. Veterans of several wars are buried here. Texas Historical Commission Marker
