Mt. Nevelton Cemetery Photo

Mt. Nevelton Cemetery is located on the West side of County Road 3707, about 2 miles South of Bullard, Texas. It is located behind the Mt. Nevelton CME Church. The cemetery has a dry creek bed running North and South through the center. It is an African American cemetery and has burials dating as far back as 1903. The cemetery is surrounded by pasture and contains several large Oaks. It is well maintained and easily accessed. This survey was done in Oct 1996 by Ira Gaylon White and published in 1997 by the Cherokee County Genealogical Society.
