Pleasant Grove Cemetery is located 1 mile west of Maydelle, Texas on CR 1804, just north of Highway 84. Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church is located next to this cemetery.

Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church is one of the oldest Baptist churches in the county. It was organized in 1854. Additional buildings have been added over the years, with a cemetery with the same name on the property. Still active today. Texas Historical Commission Marker
