Sara Picard and Howard Thacker announce the birth of their son, Howard Isaiah Thacker Jr. at 9:28 a.m. Jan. 3 at East Texas Medical Center, Jacksonville. He weighed two pounds and six ounces and was 15 inches long. Grandparents are Leon and Colleen Picard and Eula Mae Thacker, all of Alto. Great-grandparents are the late Dolores Nerren and F.L. Nerren of Wells and Lloyd and Evelyn Davis of Palestine. There are two sisters, Christie and Michelle Thacker of Jacksonville.

Elisabeth Avalyn Moore
 

Sean Daniel Moore announces the birth of his baby sister, Elisabeth Avalyn at 9:06 a.m. Jan. 12 at Arlington Medical Center. She weighed seven pounds and 14 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Parents are Amy and Daniel Moore of Haltom City. Grandparents are Beverly and James Moore of Gallatin and Connie and Donald McBroom of Rusk. Great grandparents are Helen and Jerry Grimes of Gallatin and Sherry and Sonny Stutts of Livingston.
