  Gonzalez-Sanz

 

Sandra D. Gonzalez and Nelson Sanz, both of Austin, will marry at Laguna Gloria in Austin Feb. 28. Miss Gonzalez is the daughter of Terrie and Robert Gonzalez. Mr. Sanz is the son of Rosa Sanz of Royal Palm Beach, Fla. and Enrique Sanz of Miami, Fla.

 

 

 

Tyler-Kimbrough exchange vows in Nacogdoches

Lauren Elizabeth Kimbrough of Nacogdoches and Scott Gary Tyler of Palestine were married at 5 p.m. Dec. 27, 2008, at Millards Crossing Chapel in Nacogdoches.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Carol Kimbrough of Nacogdoches and the granddaughter of Nan Durham of Rusk. The groom's parents are Gary and Renee Tyler of Folsom, Calif.

Paul Jones of Palestine officiated.

Maid of honor was Katherine Kimbrough of Nacogdoches, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Stone of Nacogdoches; Mai Michlik of Tyler and Christiann Tyler of Bayside, Calif., sister of the groom.

Best man was Tommy Allison of Palestine. Groomsmen were Duane Whitcraft, Phoenix, Ariz; Greg Branch of Palestine; Jason Christian-Furnis of Shingle Springs, Calif.

Ushers were Andres Flores and Buddy Sharp, both of Palestine. Flower girl was Rayna Williams of Jacksonville, cousin of the bride. Tony Sartain of Nacogdoches was the organist.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Watkin's House at Millard's Crossing.

The bride received her bachelor's degree in communications and her master's degree in education from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is employed in Palestine as a journalism and speech teacher.

The groom received his bachelor's degree in journalism from Arizona State University and is the sports editor of the Palestine Herald-Press.

After a honeymoon to San Antonio, the couple resides in Palestine

As a unique feature of wedding, the bride's diamond wedding bands were i exchanged in a box of Cracker Jacks.

 

  Hodges-Moore

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hodges of Wells recently announced the engagement of their daughter, Brianna Hodges, of Wells to Brandon Moore of Gilmer. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Moore of Gilmer. The couple will marry at 1 p.m. Feb. 7 at Falvey United Memorial Methodist Church in Wells.

  McCuistion-Hutchison

Mr. and Mrs. Lowell McCuistion of McKinney announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kara McCuistion, of Dallas to Adam Hutchison of Dallas. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Hutchison of Allen. Miss McCuistion is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Pringle of Alto. The ceremony will be held 1 p.m. March 28 in Wildwood Inn in Denton.

  Brooks-Culp

Jeana Pierce Brooks and Richard Culp announce their upcoming marriage on March 14. She is the daughter of JoAnn Pierce of Tyler, formerly of Jacksonville, and the late Charles Pierce. He is the son of Danny and Sherry Culp of Crockett. Ms. Brooks worked as district administrator for Rep. Chuck Hopson and is now the president of the Crockett Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Culp is employed as an electrician for Conam in Alaska.

 

Engagement told for granddaughter of Rusk resident
Haralson-Price

Jim and Lynn Haralson of Longview announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Rose Haralson to Matthew Earl Price, son of Roy and Mary Price of Longview. Miss Haralson is the granddaughter of J.A. and Ruby Haralson of Tyler and Jan Hardy of Rusk and the late Hugh C. Hardy. She is the great-granddaughter of Virginia and Roger Hardy.

Mr. Price is the grandson of Norma and Roy Price of Atlanta and the late Betty and Earl Rhoades of Marshall.

Miss Haralson is a 2002 Longview High graduate and a 2006 Southern Methodist University graduate with a degree in corporate communications and public affairs. She is the special events coordinator at the Houston Zoo.

Mr. Price is a 2001 Longview High School graduate and a 2006 University of Texas at Austin graduate with a liberal arts degree in English. He is a real-time power marketer for Eagle Energy Partners, a division of EDF Energy.

The couple will be married April 4 at Camp Fern in Marshall.

  Reynolds-Rowley

Katy Reynolds and Jamie Rowley, both of Alto are engaged to be married on Sept. 26. He is the son of Robin and Billy Joe Clifton of Brownsboro and Richard Rowley of Alto. She is the daughter of Molly and Ronnie Grimes of Lufkin and Randy Reynolds of Lufkin.

  Donnell-Schrader wed Jan. 3 in Las Vegas

Michael Christopher Donnell, son of Debbie Miller of Cushing and Joseph Donnell of Nacogdoches and Stephanie Marie Schrader, daughter of Russ and Patsy Schrader of Las Vegas, Nev. were married Jan. 3 at Lilbert Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Roberts officiating. The groom is a Stephen F. Austin University graduate with a degree in computer science and math. He is employed as information technology manager for the city of Nacogdoches. Mrs. Donnell is employed with public works department for the city of Nacogdoches. They will make their home in Nacogdoches.

The groom's mother is employed at Rusk Junior High School.
