Loden-Sosby
Becky Loden of Tyler and David Brandon Sosby of Addison will be married March 8 at The Woods Country Club in Jacksonville. Parents of the couple are Karen Loden and John Raymond Loden and RayNell Sosby and David Sosby, all of Rusk. Bridal attendants will be Rachel Loden, Crystal Brown, Brooke Downs, Jessica Stanley and Lily Raiborn. The groom's attendants will be Bryan Sosby, Luke Sinclair, Tony Duran, Don Ryan Stanley and Joshua Raiborn. Ushers will be Jacob and Joshua Raiborn.
Couple
will wed
The engagement of Vivian Lee Ann Pope and Reginald McGowan II has been announced. The couple will be married at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the New Hope Baptist Church in Alto.
She is the daughter of Angela Moore and Roy Pope and Kimberly Pope. Her grandparents are Jack and Alberta Pope and J.B and Jessie Moore, all of Alto.
Mr. McGowan is the son of Reginald McGowan I of Tyler and Kathy Harris of Rusk and the late Eddie Harris. His grandparents are Walter and Maxine Session of Rusk and the late Jessie McGowan and Novaline McGowan.
Miss Pope is a graduate of Alto High School, Tyler Junior College and East Texas School of Nursing. She is a LVN employed at Lufkin State School. Mr. McGowan is a graduate of Rusk High School, Sam Houston State University and is employed at Lufkin ISD as a physical education and track coach.

Parker-Driver
John and Jan Raffield of Rusk announce the engagement of their
daughter, Sherron Lavone Parker, to Todd Andrew Driver. The bride-elect is the
granddaughter of John and Joy Raffield of Jacksonville and Leslie and Doris
Parker of Rusk. She is a 2004 graduate of Rusk High School. Mr. Driver is the
son of Rodney and Carroll Driver of Jacksonville. He is the grandson of W.T. and
Wilma Driver of Rusk and Joan Adcock of Tyler. He is a 1997 graduate of
Whitehouse High School. The wedding will be March 1 at The Peoples Church in
Jacksonville.

Jacobs-Parker
Becky and David Jacobs of Rusk announce the engagement of their
daughter, Emily Ruth, to William Blake Parker, son of John and Jan Raffield and
Bo Parker, all of Rusk. Miss Jacobs is the granddaughter of Letha Jo and Thomas
Parsons of Rusk and the late Betty and Davis Jacobs. She is a graduate of Rusk
High School and Jacksonville College. Mr. Parker is the grandson of Charlene
Stone of Athens and Doris and Leslie Parker of Rusk. He is a Rusk High School
graduate and is currently serving in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Hood. The
wedding will be May 3 at Central Baptist Church, Jacksonville.
Hassell
will wed
Erin Suttin and Les Hassell, both of Kilgore, announce their
engagement. Miss Suttin is the daughter of Kathryn Goldman of Longview, the late
Barry Suttin and Wendy Suttin of Houston. She is a graduate of Pine Tree High
School and the University of Texas at Tyler. He is the son of Larry and Andra
Hassell of Reklaw, a Rusk High School graduate and attended Stephen F. Austin
State University. She is the community marketing coordinator for Longview News
Journal and Marshall News Messenger and he is a photo journalist for the
Longview News Journal. They will marry March 8 on the beach in Galveston.
