Bond, Gobea to marry

Elizabeth Bond of Jacksonville and Gabriel Gobea of Jacksonville are proud to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Elizabeth, daughter of Bruce and Rhonda Bond of Livingston, is a 1998 graduate of Carthage High School and a May 2003 graduate of University of Texas at Tyler, with a Bachelor of Science in health professions. She is also a graduate of Tyler Junior College with an Associate of Science in biology. She is a member of the Biological Honor Society and is treasurer of the Pre-Med/Pre-Dent Association. She teaches eighth grade science at Jacksonville Middle School.

Gabriel, son of Guadalupe and Maria Gobea of Jacksonville, is a 1994 graduate of Jacksonville High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Tyler. He is a member of the Mathematical Association of America and the American Mathematical Society. He is also a member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and served 18 months active duty for Operation Iraqi Freedom II. He teaches geometry at Jacksonville High School.

The couple plan to marry April 29, 2006, in Arp.

Boyd, Gaskill plan wedding

Frank Boyd of Farmerville, La., and Linda Hodges of Olla, La., are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Mitzi Dawn Boyd of Winnfield, La., to Jason “Thrill” Dan Gaskill of Winnfield, La., son of Susan Mines Reynolds of Fairfield, Texas.

Mitzi is a 2000 graduate of West Monroe High School in Monroe, La. She is also a 2004 graduate of the Huey P. Long Technical College in Jena, La. She is currently employed by Winn Correctional-CCA in Winnfield, La.

Jason, known by his friends as “Thrill,” is a 1996 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He is currently employed by Winn Correctional-CCA in Winnfield, La.

The couple plan to marry April 22, 2006, in Olla, La.

Gravitt, Price engaged

Mary Price is proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of Emily Nicole Gravitt of Neches, daughter of Danny and Julie Gravitt of Brownsboro, to William Houston Price of Neches, son of Mr. And Mrs. Greg Price of Neches.

The couple plan to marry April 16, 2006, in Athens.

Foley, McDonald to wed

Mr. and Mrs. James Patrick Foley joyfully announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Foley to Justin McDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy McDonald and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Sanford.

Sara is a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University and a 2001 graduate of James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas.

Justin attends Tyler Junior College and is a 2000 graduate of Jacksonville High School.

They will be married Aug. 12, 2006 in Tyler

Nunnally, Shuttlesworth plan June vows

Charles and Rita Nunnally of Jacksonville are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Carrie Eileen Nunnally of Jacksonville, to Jason Kent Shuttlesworth of Nacogdoches, son of Kent and Rosanne Shuttlesworth of Jacksonville.

The couple plans to wed June 3, 2006, at Lon Morris Chapel.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Jacksonville High School and is attending Stephen F. Austin University.

The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of McAllen Memorial High School in McAllen, and a 2003 graduate of Tyler Junior College. He is currently self-employed.

Cable, Toles engaged

The families of Bessie Cable and Bob Toles are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of Bessie and Bob.

The couple’s children include Mae Daniels of Dialville, Vicki and Sonny Stephenson of Texarkana, and Al and Cyndy Boyce of Dialville.

The couple will wed Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Sacred Heart Chapel at The Texas State Railroad Park in Rusk with a reception to follow at Southern Cherokee Federal Credit Union’s hospitality room.
