WILSON YORK

LINDEN, Texas-Wilson York, 86, of Lone Star, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in a local hospital.

Mr. York was born July 16, 1918, in Irene, Texas. He was a retired gourmet butcher from Clint's Meat Market, a 
Shriner and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances York; and one son, Gerald York.

Survivors include two sons, John York of Linden and Richard York of Lewisville, Ark.; two stepsons, Clint Amox 
of Haines, Alaska, and James Amox of Linden; one daughter, Sherry Lewis of Lone Star; one stepdaughter, 
Martha Tyler of Bullard, Texas; one brother, Robert York of Seagoville, Texas; one sister, Sarah Kirbo of Wylie, 
Texas; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Harris Chapel Cemetery, Hughes Springs, Texas, with Chris Cowan 
officiating. Burial will be under direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home.
