ROGER WILLIAMS

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Roger Claude Williams, 68, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 
14, 2003, in a Pittsburg, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Williams was born Dec. 3, 1934, in Marion County, Texas. He was a bricklayer and member 
of Warlock United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Roger Christopher Williams Jr. of Los Angeles; one brother, Willie 
Stanton of Dallas; three sisters, Easter McDonald of Tyler, Texas, Gloria Ford of Marshall, Texas, 
and Ophelia Stanton of Hughes Springs; one aunt, Carephaine Armstrong of Marion County; one 
uncle, Marion Berry of Marion County; one namesake, Roger Jackson of Dallas; three grandchildren; 
and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Anderson 
officiating. Burial will be in Mims Chapel Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
