W.B. SURRATT

LINDEN, Texas-W.B. Surratt, 85, of Linden died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, in a local hospital.

Mr. Surratt was born Oct. 26, 1919, in Cass County, Texas. He was retired from Lone Star Steel Co., 
a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and POW. He 
was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Mary Regina Linam; and two great-grandsons, Bryce 
Evans Givins and Hayden Zane Givins.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Surratt of Linden; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Patsy 
Surratt of Linden and Steve and Carrie Surratt of Cleburne, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, 
Peggy and David Self of Cabot, Ark., and Cheryl Surratt of Linden; one brother, Oneal Surratt of Linden; 
one sister, Oneida Middleton of Fort Worth, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Center Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Craig Evers and David 
Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler 
Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed today at the funeral home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
