HOWARD SURRATT

LINDEN, Texas-Howard Surratt, 75, of Linden died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, in Linden.

Mr. Surratt was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Linden. He was a painter, a Baptist and a Korean War Army veteran. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Surratt.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Wylene Surratt of Linden, Jason and Katherine 
Surratt of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Jerry and Patricia Surratt of Atlanta, Texas; one daughter and son-in-
law, Jodi and Michael Dean Lyda of Linden; one sister, June Buckland of Linden; eight grandchildren; and 
two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Russell 
officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery
