WILLIAM REED SHELTON

Services for William Reed Shelton, 37, of Hughes Springs will be held at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 19, 2005, at the Welch 
Funeral & Memorial Center Chapel, 4619 Judson Road in Longview, with the Rev. Dewayne Beaty officiating. Burial 
will follow at 3 p.m. in Shelton/Rankin Cemetery in Hughes Springs. 

Mr. Shelton died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, in Mason County. Mr. Shelton was born Oct. 1, 1967, to C.R. Shelton Jr. and 
Marty Whitehead Shelton in Longview. He was a lifetime resident of the Longview area. Mr. Shelton was a member of 
the First Baptist Church. He was the owner of Mill Branch Productions and master control operator for Fox 51. His first l
ove was Harley motorcycles, and he enjoyed all outdoor activities and music. He was a graduate of the Dallas Art Institute. 

Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by a niece, Carol Lynn Broussard, and his grandparents. 

Mr. Shelton is survived by his parents, Charles R. Jr. and Marty Shelton, his brother and sister-in-law, Charles Thomas and 
Deborah Shelton, his sister Martha Laster and John Harris and his brother-in-law Don Laster, all of Longview; sister and 
brother-in-law Leesa and Gary Broussard of Lake Cherokee; his nephews, Brad Laster and wife Angela, Dustin Laster, and 
Chris Shelton, all of Longview, and niece Sarah Smith and her husband, James, and great-niece Kristin Smith, all of Longview. 

The family received friends at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the funeral and memorial center.
