TRAVIS SAMPSON SR.

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Travis Collins Sampson Sr., 81, of Naples, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, 
in a Tyler, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Sampson was born June 21, 1923, in Cass County, Texas. He was retired from Day & Zimmerman, a member 
of Unionville Missionary Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Lola Mae Sampson of Naples; one son, Travis C. Sampson Jr. of Naples; four daughters 
and three sons-in-law, Geraldine and Alfred Cannon of Omaha, Texas, Shirley and Winfred Traylor of Cason, Texas, 
Onie and James Nichols of Fort Worth, Texas, and Deborah Young of Long Beach, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; two 
great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Naples with the Rev. Rueben King officiating. 
Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
