LAVERA PARVINO

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Lavera B. Parvino, 89, of Avinger, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, 
in a Longview, Texas, hospital.

Mrs. Parvino was born Oct. 14, 1915, in Avinger. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern 
Star and Avinger First Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Parvino of Avinger; one daughter, Johnnie Cole of Daingerfield, 
Texas; one son, Marvin E. Parvino of Avinger; three brothers, C.L. Biddy of Chandler, Texas, Wilmer 
Biddy of Avinger, and O'Neal Biddy of Hughes Springs, Texas; four sisters, Obie Lee Sanders, Mary 
Lou Brazzel and Annie Ruth Brown of Houston and Myrtle Pendley of Avinger; five grandchildren; six 
great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Avinger First Baptist Church with the Revs. Shawn Thrapp and 
Danny Ray Biddy officiating. Burial will be in Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis 
Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Avinger First Baptist Church.
