MAURINE O'DELL

HUGHES SPRINGS-Maurine O'Dell, 89, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, 
in a Longview, Texas, hospital.

Mrs. O'Dell was born Feb. 14, 1914, in Hopkins County, Texas. She was a nurse's aide and a charter 
member of Veal Switch Missionary Baptist Church. Her husband, Frank O'Dell, preceded her in death 
in 1987.

Survivors include two sons, Frankie O'Dell and John O'Dell of Hughes Springs; eight grandchildren, 
Angie Neeley, Melanie Smoak, David O'Dell, Denny O'Dell, Becca O'Dell, Debbie Daniel, Pam Hall 
and Lisa Walker; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Veal Switch Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy 
Oglsby, Charles Swilling and Curtis Hall officiating. Burial will be in Veal Switch Cemetery under 
direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
