HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Ruby Lee Collier Jones, 89, of Hughes Springs died Saturday, Oct. 2, 
2004, in a Linden, Texas, hospital.

Mrs. Collier was born April 9, 1915, in Marion County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include one sister, Morie Davis of Lone Star, Texas; three cousins, Robert Perry of Lone 
Star, Alma Ray McCain of Ore City, Texas, and Alice Ross White of Mims, Texas; and a number of 
other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hughes Springs Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles 
Everett officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Ore City, under direction of Reeder-
Davis Funeral Home.
