HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Letha Hall, 83, of Hughes Springs died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at her home.

Mrs. Hall was born Feb. 14, 1921, in Cass County, Texas. She was a retail clerk and a member of First 
Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wesley Hall; one daughter, Gerry Polley; 
two grandsons, Brian Hampton and Johnny Webb; and one great-granddaughter, Heather Cook.

Survivors include two sons, Dwain Hall of Crossroads, Texas, and Jackie Hall of Lake O' the Pines, Texas; 
one daughter, Charlotte Hampton of Mount Pleasant, Texas; three brothers, Gerald Griffin of Senatobia, 
Miss., Troy Griffin of Memphis, Tenn., and A.J. Griffin of West Memphis, Ark.; two sisters, Gaynell Goble of 
Tennessee and Romelle Owens of Kiser, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of 
other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Rorex officiating. Burial will 
be in Hughes Springs Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
