Robert Earl "Bob" Hampton

LINDEN - Funeral services for Robert Earl "Bob" Hampton, 76, of Linden, will be 2 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Atlanta, with the Rev. Mac L. Bearss officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery. Arrangements are by Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Mr. Hampton died May 20, 2010.

Mr. Hampton was born January 16, 1934, in Carterville. He was a mechanic, U.S. Air Force veteran, member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, and enjoyed fishing and working with his bird dogs. Survivors include his wife, Kay; and sons, Brian Robert Hampton and Christopher Wade Hampton. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, May 22, 2010, at the funeral home.
