CHARLES EVERETT

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Charles Everett, 84, of Omaha, Texas, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, 
in a Longview, Texas, hospital.

The Rev. Everett was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Morris County, Texas. He was pastor at Hughes Chapel 
Baptist Church, Hughes Springs, a member of Unity Association and a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Bennie C. Everett of Omaha; one brother, James W. Everett of Dallas; two 
sisters, Mary L. Davis of Fort Worth, Texas, and Bernice Banks of Daingerfield, Texas; and a number 
of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Daingerfield with the Rev. Bertrand 
Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Rivers Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
