EMMA EVANS

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Emma Jean Evans, 60, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, 
at her home.

Mrs. Evans was born Dec. 9, 1943, in Morris County, Texas. She was a domestic worker and a member 
of Shady Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Stevie Evans.

Survivors include one son, Charles Evans of Daingerfield; six sisters, Jane Evans, Gloria Smith, Rosie 
Gasaway and Emma Faye Evans of Lone Star, Texas, Joann Evans of Hughes Springs and Martha 
Standmire of Plano, Texas; one brother, D.E. Evans of Avinger, Texas; six grandchildren; and a number 
of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Christian Church, Cason, Texas, with the Rev. A.O. 
Sasser officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
