Frances Evans

LINDEN — Funeral services for Frances Evans, 81, of Linden, will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2011, at First United Methodist Church of Linden, with the Rev. Kevin Young officiating. Interment will be in Cave Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. today, August 7, 2011, at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden.

Mrs. Evans was born March 25, 1930, in Linden, to Floyd and Trudius Wells. She passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011, in Longview. Mrs. Evans was a member of First United Methodist Church of Linden. She was a hospital volunteer and also served as the chairperson for the local blood drive for many years. She was a lifelong caregiver and was loved by her friends and family.

She is survived by eight nieces and nephews, a large loving family and special friend and caregiver, Guin Prestige.

Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob Evans Jr.; sister, Bobbie Helen Wentrcek; brothers, Ray and Jay Wells; and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cave Springs Cemetery Association or the Sunshine Ladies at First United Methodist Church of Linden.
