LINDEN - Funeral services for Joseph Ray Edwards, 69, of Atlanta, will be 1 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery.

Mr. Edwards was born April 30, 1941, in Edna, and died May 5, 2010, in a Texarkana hospital. He was an electrician, a member of LaPorte Masonic Lodge #857, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Janet Hill Edwards; sons, Ross Edwards, Richard Edwards and Jason Edwards; and brother, John Edwards.
