BERTA DARBY

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Berta Lee Darby, 91, of Hughes Springs died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, 
in a Longview, Texas, nursing home.

Mrs. Darby was born May 26, 1913, in Hughes Springs. She was a homemaker and a member of 
First Baptist Church ,where she attended the Young at Hearts and Homemakers Sunday school 
classes. She was preceded in death by two husbands, John Willard Rhodes and Guy Darby; and 
one son, Ronny Rhodes.

Survivors include one daughter, Mozelle Solis of Longview; one sister, Jo Jacobs of Texarkana; 
one grandson, Johnny Price of Longview; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Spanhanks 
officiating. Burial will be in Hughes Springs Cemetery.
