R.E. CHISOM

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-R.E. Chisom, 86, of Lone Star, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, 
in a Tyler, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Chisom was born July 18, 1917, in Cass County, Texas. He was retired from Lone Star 
Steel and a Methodist.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Chisom of Daingerfield, Texas, Gerald Chisom of Lone 
Star and Richard Chisom of Texarkana; three daughters, Sue Montgomery of Lone Star, Letha 
Simmons of McKinney, Texas, and Cathy Wright of Naples, Texas; eight grandchildren; four 
great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Liberty United Methodist Church with the Rev. George M. 
Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral 
Home.
