CLARENCE CHEATHAM

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Clarence Cheatham, 77, of Hughes Springs died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, in a Linden, 
Texas, hospital.

Mr. Cheatham was born Jan. 19, 1927, in Cass County, Texas. He was retired from Lone Star Steel and a member 
of Love Chapel Baptist Church, where he served as president of the chorus and chairman of the deacon board.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Rosie Cheatham of Arlington, Texas, and Jerry and 
Angie Cheatham of Houston; two sisters, Ester May Webster and Emma Jane Lefall of Dallas; two brothers, the Rev. 
Freddie Cheatham and James Morris Cheatham of Dallas; four grandsons; two great-grandsons; and a number of 
other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Love Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. L. Traylor officiating. Burial will be in 
Love Chapel Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
