JAMES CHAMBLEE

ATLANTA, Texas-James Chamblee, 76, of Atlanta died Sunday, May 14, 
2000, in Atlanta.

Mr. Chamblee was born May 5, 1927, in Cass County, Texas. He was retired
from Atlanta Tire Co. and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lou Chamblee of Atlanta; one daughter and
son-in-law, Betty and Wesley Voss of Atlanta; two sisters, Martha Jo Day of
Atlanta and Christine Roberts of Linden, Texas; three grandchildren, Teresa
Buckworth of Concord, N.C., Lisa Byers of Bloomburg, Texas, and Keith Voss
of Atlanta; one great-grandchild, Ali Byers of Bloomburg; and a number of
other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Beech Creek Cemetery with the
Revs. Allan Priest and Floyd Eccles officiating. Burial will be under direction 
of Hanner Funeral Home.
