HUGHES SPRINGS - Graveside services for Jimmie Boykin, 73, of Avinger are set for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 
2004, in Veal Switch Cemetery with the Rev. Mickey Rorex officiating. 

Arrangements are by Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. 

Mr. Boykin died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at a Longview hospital. He was born June 30, 1930, in Riderwood, Ala. 

He was a homebuilder and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Baptist denomination 
and a 32nd Degree Mason with Garden Oak Lodge 1306 in Houston and the Avinger Lodge. 

His daughter, Cynthia Boykin, preceded him in death. 

His wife, Faye Boykin of Avinger, and one grandson, Jason Boykin of Avinger, survive him. 

Viewing is 6-8 p.m. today, June 12, at the funeral home.
