FELIX BOYD

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Felix Wayne Boyd, 64, of Avinger, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, 
in a Longview, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Boyd was born Oct. 14, 1939, in Warren, Ark. He was employed with Red Arrow/ABF Freight 
Lines and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Boyd of Avinger; two stepchildren, Darren Haymes of North 
Richland Hills, Texas, and Tracy Steinhauser of Nacogdoches, Texas; five grandchildren, Kirsten 
Smith and Garret Haymes of North Richland Hills, Kacy Steinhauser and Keelan Steinhauser of 
Nacogdoches and Samantha Boyd of West Monroe, La.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Quitman & Center Church of Christ, Gladewater, 
Texas, with Mike Jeffries officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bossier 
City, La., under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
