HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Everlean Bolden, 65, of Hughes Springs died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, 
in a Linden, Texas, hospital.

Mrs. Bolden was born Feb. 13, 1938, in Marion County, Texas. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Elton Bolden of Hughes Springs, Lacy Bolden of Kyle, Texas, and Darren 
Bolden of Mount Pleasant, Texas; one daughter, Patsy Stanton of Dallas; her mother, Ida B. Stanton of 
Hughes Springs; eight sisters, Wrotee Edwards, Louise Stanton, Shirley Harris, Ophelia Stanton and 
Betty Cheatham of Hughes Springs, Freddie Reed and Della Harkey of Dallas and Faye Austin of 
Daingerfield, Texas; three brothers, Willie Stanton and Charlie Lewis of Dallas and Thomas Harkey of 
Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be noon Saturday at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Anderson 
officiating. Burial will be in Mims Chapel Cemetery, Avinger, Texas, under direction of Reeder-Davis 
Funeral Home.
