LUCILLE BISHOP LINDEN, Texas-Lucille G. Bishop, 89, of Linden died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, in a local hospital. Mrs. Bishop was born Oct. 16, 1915, in Paris, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Bishop. Survivors include four daughters, Jane Fitts of Linden, Esther Bell of Forest Hill, La., Frances Fisher of Austill, Ga., and Carolyn Cox of Cedar Hill, Texas; one son, Hayden Bishop of Banner Elk, N.C.; two brothers, James Fox and Cecil Fox of Colorado City, Texas; three sisters, Lula Bell White of San Angelo, Texas, Nancy Brewer of Odessa, Texas, and Agnes Harrison of Monahans, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry McKellar officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery.
