ELWOOD BISHOP

LINDEN, Texas-Elwood Bishop, 95, of Linden died Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, in a local hospital.

Mr. Bishop was born July 7, 1909, in Lancaster, Penn. He was retired and an Assembly of God member.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Bishop of Linden; four daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Robert 
Fisher of Austill, Ga., Esther and Gerry Bell of Forest Hill, La., Jane and Cecil Fitts of Linden and Carolyn 
and Robert Cox of Cedar Hill, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Hayden and Winelda Bishop of Banner 
Elk, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry McKellar 
officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
