HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Mildred Elsie Beal Alderson, 90, of Flower Mound, Texas, formerly of Hughes 
Springs, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, in a Flower Mound nursing home.

Mrs. Alderson was born May 3, 1914, in Liberty, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Hughes 
Springs First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Willie Alderson.

Survivors include eight children, Treva Hawkins of Tucker, Ga., Louise Southall of Hurst, Texas, Patsy Sloan 
of Lake Kiowa, Texas, Janette Jackson of Valliant, Okla., Ronald Anderson of Dallas, Phillip Alderson of 
Garland, Texas, Paula Beard of San Marcos, Texas, and Susan Alderson of Austin; 15 grandchildren; 18 
great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home with Gary Stewart officiating. Burial will be 
in Hughes Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
