CAMP COUNTY - MAPLE SPRINGS CEMETERY


Mr. Lollis C. "Shorty" Irby was born May 23, 1923 in Hopkins County, Texas and passed away October 28, 2015 in Pittsburg, Texas

He served his country in the Navy during WWII, was a carpenter, worked as lumber yard manager at Pittsburg Lumber Company, and was Camp County Clerk for 12 years. He is a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents: John Carl and Bessie Parnell Irby, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Irby of Pittsburg, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews that love and care for her.

Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Maple Springs Cemetery.
