CAMP COUNTY - ROSE HILL CEMETERY PITTSBURG - Services for Martin Foye, 74, Leesburg, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Pittsburg, with the Rev. Richard Heyduck officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home, Pittsburg. Mr. Foye died Aug. 17, 2007, in Pittsburg. He was born July 9, 1933, in Shreveport, La., to Albee Rew and Mary Eliza Alford Foye. He attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, earning a degree in mathematics. He spent 41 years in Dallas and started his career with Magnolia Petroleum Co., now Mobil Oil, worked for Electronic Data Systems, and retired from Dwight's Oil & Gas in 1998. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pittsburg, and former member of First United Methodist Church, Lancaster. He was active in the Lions Club for 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Foye, Leesburg; sons, Brian Foye, Fort Collins, Colo., and Marty Foye, Austin; daughters, Lorra Kurtz, Alpharetta, Ga.; brother, Albee Rew Foye Jr., Oklahoma City, Okla.; four grandchildren; and one niece. Pallbearers are Mark Johnson, Don Gantt, Bill Barnes, Tom Ellis, Mark Chaddick and Rick Jackson. Lions Club members will serve as honorary pallbearers.
