CAMP COUNTY - ROSE HILL CEMETERY Birth: Jul. 25, 1914 Death: Feb. 22, 2007 PITTSBURG - Services for Lacy Davis, 92, Pittsburg, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Heyduck officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home, Pittsburg. Mr. Davis died Feb. 22, 2007, at his residence. He was born July 25, 1914, in Upshur County to Clarence Alonza "Lonnie" and Annie Mae Sewell Davis. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, founding member of Northeast Texas Rural Heritage Museum and a member of Cypress Basin Genealogy Society and Pittsburg Genealogy Society. He retired from the United States Postal Service as an assistant postmaster, and served in the Army as a master sergeant during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane F. Davis; grandson, Ryan Hendricks; and two brothers. Survivors include daughters, Ann Bost, Elkhart, Nancy Hendricks, Demorest, Ga., and Linda Alford, Pittsburg; sister, Eunice Kirkpatrick, Mesquite; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives. Pallbearers are Lee Bost, Sean Hendricks, Cory Hendricks, Jimmy Alford, Mark Blackman and James Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be David Wallace and William Wallace.
