PITTSBURG - Graveside services for Bertha LaVerne Carson, 90, of Pittsburg, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Crossroads Cemetery, with the Rev. Steve Packer officiating. Arrangements are by Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Carson died March 2, 2008, in Pittsburg.

Born May 15, 1917, in Oil City, La., she was a member of Silver Threads Band, Senior Citizens Center and First Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Craig Carson and John H. Carson.
