CAMP COUNTY - ROSE HILL CEMETERY


Services for Lois Baxter, 80, of Pittsburg are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Erman Smith Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Baxter died Sept. 26, 2012, at her home.

She was born Dec. 14, 1931, in Van to the late Earl Jefferson and Verlie V. Nations Hill. She was a member of First United Methodist, Pittsburg, and a retired teacher with the Pittsburg Independent School District where she taught fourth and fifth grades.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Baxter; and brother, Mike Hill.

Survivors include son, Jerry and Cheryl Baxter of Pittsburg; daughter, Ann and Bobby Jenkins of Pittsburg; brothers, Clifford and Pat Hill and Donald Ray and Lou Hill, both of Van; sister, Shirley and David Lake of Tyler; sister-in-law, Judy Hill of Van; grandchildren, John Baxter, Joseph Baxter, Braden Jenkins, Amber Noble and husband Patrick and Bryce Jenkins.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Hill, Brent Hill, Jody Lake, Jona Lake, Sammy Hill, Jim Hill, Rick Parker and Randall Caussey.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
